Mrs Mitchell (3M)
Hi everyone! My name is Mrs Mitchell and I am the teacher for 3M. I teach 3M Monday to Thursday and then Miss Gallagher teaches 3M on a Friday. I have been teaching at Birkby Junior School for 12 years! I lead Computing and it is one of my favourite subjects, as we get to create cool games on the iPads. I also lead an Intergenerational Project, which is where children get to spend some time with their grandparents doing fun activities – so look out for the invitation letter in September to get involved! I have two children called Leah and Eloise. I can’t wait to meet you all and find out all about you! Here are some interesting facts about me:
· My favourite subject to teach in school is Maths, as I like to solve number problems.
· I have taught in year 3, year 4 and year 5 at Birkby Junior School
· My favourite foods are crisps… and chocolate…. and halloumi
· When I’m not in school I like to: spend time with my friends and family; go on long walks and explore new surroundings.
