Mrs Mitchell (3M)
Hi everyone! My name is Mrs Mitchell and I am the teacher for 3M. I teach 3M Monday to Thursday. I have been teaching at Birkby Junior School for 13 years! I am one of the SENCOs in school which means I support pupils who have additional needs. In the past I have been the Computing Lead ad I also led the Intergenerational Project, which is where children get to spend some time with their grandparents doing fun activities so I know lots of families in school very well. I have two children called Leah and Eloise. I can’t wait to meet you all and find out all about you! Here are some interesting facts about me:
· My favourite subject to teach in school is Maths, as I like to solve number problems.
· I have taught in year 3, year 4 and year 5 at Birkby Junior School
· My favourite foods are crisps… and chocolate…. and halloumi
· When I’m not in school I like to: spend time with my friends and family; go on long walks and explore new surroundings.
